I don't think Shogun has earned a title shot.

I don't either.  But my info is per mmaweekly ... so idk.  Machida will dominate Shogun though.. pretty sure.

Shogun was the #1 LH in the world before his injuries.

truth.  brock got a title shot with a 2-1 record so no bitching about shogun getting a shot.

The difference is that until recently, the UFC HWY weight division was weak and Brock helped to liven it up.  The LHW division is a lot more stacked...

There are slim pickings, but I would prefer to Rich Franklin, Henderson or even Jardine.  But, because timing, it is probably going to be Shogun.
