A 'skinhead' can be someone of a 'skinhead' gang with associated music and culture etc of violence etc or in the UK it can just be simply someone with a shaved head.

In the UK, the skinhead movement was just about a group of people who enjoyed punk music/reggae music, wore differen't clothes and shaved their heads. It had nothing to do with race, a lot of black guys were skinheads Eventually, skinheads were alligned with the national front, a racist politicial movement.
So no, Dorian was not a character from American History X
You have to have an understanding of British culture in the 70's and 80's to understand.

I shaved my hair real short with a number 1 guard. I looked like such a moron I couldn't stand it. My head is just too damn big. ;D

If you have a good round head, shaven head is ok but if it has bumps and looks deformed or perhaps if you have a cone head, I advise against it, unless god has chosen that path for you. :-\

I shaved my hair real short with a number 1 guard. I looked like such a moron I couldn't stand it. My head is just too damn big. ;D
You need to go with no guard 8)

Ive been shaving my head for 10 yrs and before that kept it high and tight.
Prob with shaving your head is the cost of good blades could put you in the poor house.

I use to manage a A&F and use to put got to be glued in my hair and finally decided to get it all shaved off once i moved down to Florida. My head feels better without that shit in my hair

I did it when i went to Clemson and Michigan and i hired girls that went to Furman in S.C. and hired the girls that went to Michigan or Tri County tech while being home during Christmas...Mannnnn....T hose times were fucking great!
That is funny because guys were only "suppose" to interview the girls and the women interviewed the guys.

Spot on. The Skinhead movement was about youth culture and music etc not political or racist ideologies. That came much later when the National front and later Combat 18 developed and took on the skinhead look.
