6 ft tall or a Mr. Olympia at 5'5"?
Discuss.
-
Mr. O gets good money with endorsements. If at 6ft I get 140k+ a year then I'd go 6 because that's enough money, otherwise shrimpy Mr. O.

you're already 5'5", you can't comment. plus, he doesn't get 140 k a year, he gets a one time payment.

who gets a one time payment?

money is more important than looks if you're a man.

Agree

I'm already 6 foot tall, and blessed with good genetics for good looks, but I have no money.
-
I'm 5'10, decent looking, little bit of muscle, little bit of money.
Feeling good though... 8)
-
Soon to be Mr. Olympia :P :P 8) 8) 8) 8)

mr. olympia does, it's not a fulltime job.

Mr. O gets endorsements though. Ronnie's BSN endorsement was what 2 million?
-
I would rather be 6'7"
...oh wait ..... I am :D ;D 8)
Shame you suck at sports. :(
-
Who said I suck at sports? ???
I played basketball, football and was a 100m sprinter. 8)
not good enough to be pro though!

Quite honestly, I would never want to be 6'7. You would have to be around 300Ibs to even look like you've worked out. But then again, you can't choose what you've been born with.

i guess, but being mr. olympia has kind of lost its prestige, or did it ever have any?
to a normal person: look at that midget ninja turtle looking guy.
to a getbigger: how many dicks did he suck to get that 10 dollar trophy?
remember young bastiano, an inch in height is always better than 5 lbs of muscle.
-
I never looked at being pro as an option, I just did it for fun. :)
I wouldn't want to be a midget, most people start working out because they are not tall enough, I really wouldn't even be bothered about size at all if I stop working out, tall people still dominate all men. :)
You can always add muscle, you can never get taller no matter how much you lift or how much drugs you take, remember that. ;)
I'm both hobbit and tiny ;) ;) 8)
Beat that haaaaaahuuuu

I don't think Power Rod's question was leaning towards whether or not you would make the type of money that Mr. Olympia makes, because on the flip side of that coin, we don't really have grounds to assume that the 6 foot tall individual makes any less or any more than the actual Mr. Olympia.
Leaving money out of the equation, if we were to just base it on looks and looks alone, the question would then be:
"Who would you rather look like, a random 6 foot tall male or a 5'5 Mr. Olympia?"
Based on those parameters, I'd have to say that I'd much rather be a 6 foot tall man with a muscular build carrying very low body fat percentage, than to be 5'5 and built like a Mr. Olympia.
To be totally fair, I don't think I would ever want to look like a Mr. Olympia due to the exaggerated proportions that these individuals tend to have to begin with. While in a magazine they appear to be the most visually aesthetic and well balanced physiques, in person, they look like fucking mutations that can barely fit into cars or even regular clothing.
Conclusively, I would take a well built or even subpar built 6 foot frame that can be improved upon than a 5'5 (short) mutated build...

oh and I look like I work out ;D (epic trademark posting pictures) ;D
I see where you're getting at, I am quite fine with being 6 foot, can't imagine being any taller, but to me, IMO, unless you're in sports, like the NBA or so, there's no need to be 6'7, 6'10, etc... But again, that's just my opinion ;)

"I would rather be extraordinary than ordinary" ;)
The league of fine tall men is recruiting.
