Title: ipod help

I know this will probably get moved, but this board gets more traffic. When I plug my ipod in it won't automatically pop up like it is supposed to. I ran diagnostics and it says no ipod is found. It worked several months ago when I put new music on it. I can't get the page that says sync music because devices doesn't show up on the left side of the page. Anybody else have this problem before? Thanks!!

Try a new port on the computer and make sure you've got the Ipod plugged in securely to the cable.  Beyond that, start exploring hardware issues.  Test your cable & Ipod at the store.  Doubt it's a software issue.

Unplug your computer for 15 seconds.  Try again.


Also found this:
[iPhone] iTunes says "No iphone/ipod found."

Resolved:
Just allow iTunes internet access..!

Im sorry if this has been posted..but through my searching I was unable to find it.

If your getting the Got USB, Got USB, No iPod Found error...the problem is most likely with your TestLibUSB

The one thing I knew to do, was to run it under compability mode.

The problem was it would do nothing but cut off all my USB ports.

If your getting the error, uninstall it first.

Right-click on the setup file itself, and change the compability mode to Windows XP Service Pack 2...then install.

Take the cord for your ears and wrap it as tight as you can around your neck.

Solid advice right there....



It is the only way to somewhat rid of the shame he's brought to his family.....NO STRAIGHT MAN should own an Ipod.

Are you saying that he has one of those arm band ipod holders that he wraps around his 11 inch pythons?
