Could you give us a brief overview as to what makes them the most inclined towards socialism?

1. Massive social welfare programs
2. Massive public sector and Beaurocracy
3. Very high progressive taxation
4. Very high property and sales taxes
5. Many regulations of all businesses.
This is off the top of my head. I live in NY and it sucks. I am trying to leave this liberal hell-hole.

Don't forget "massive tax cuts for Big Business".

Nope that would promote business, which promotes self reliance and personal freedom. Not exactly hallmarks of douchebag liberalism.

Mine. (Taxachusetts.)

Agreed. It's fucking insanity. The taxing is ridiculous on so many levels.

I'd love to retire back home in Mass...never happen.

I don't understand why people associate what is good for big business is also good for all business. This is simply not true - if you promote big business you squeeze all the small players out of the market.

I'm actually trying to transfer the hell out of this state. Pray for me. (Seriously.)
