I'll Twitter 2-3 times for a few days and then forget about it for days at a time. 

I think the people who 'tweet' the most (at least of those who have reasonably interesting lives) have this thing called 'tweetdeck' which somehow links up their Twitter accounts with Facebook.

I don't know how all that shit works.
