Title: What's the better option for post-workout nutrition?
Post by: Relentless on June 12, 2009, 09:18:41 PM
I just got finished with a killer chest/tri session and had to decide between two scoops of Optimum whey or a McDonald's ice cream cone...

...and I decided to go with the the ice cream cone.  Why not?  All of that protein post-workout stuff is a bunch of BS anyway.

When did you first realize that inhaling a nasty protein and water mix wasn't necessary within the first 30 minutes of post-training?

I just eat a big dinner with lots of protein and lowish fat about 30 minutes before training.

How do you not throw up all over yourself?  I doubt I could train very hard without losing my lunch if I ate so close to training.

Of course, plazmosis is the core of my diet plan.

I spilt some of the powder on the dog by accident, and i kid you not, the dogs coat is the shiniest it has ever been.

I eat a big ass protein meal.  Tonight I had a 6 egg omlette with 2 pork chops and a bowl of Ramen noodles.

My body seems to respond much better to whole foods than supplements.
