i do, i actually have a bicycle pump and i run around my truck and pump up my tires and the tires of others at red lights and while sitting in traffic... ;D

Yeah, nice. We don't need a coherent energy policy, just keep your tires inflated. That will solve the crisis.

Whatever. It was stupid for him to say and his "energy policy" hasn't made it past that stage and onto anything of substance.

The McCain camp was right to drill him on that. $4.00 gas, $146 p/barrel oil and he shrugs off exploiting our own resources and instead of anything substantive he fires back with "inflate your tires", which was proven to not do jack shit let alone replace production from new oil wells.

I didn't buy completely in to the lamely named "Drill Drill Drill" as it was short sighted as well, but you have to do better than "inflate your tires", CAFE and windmills.
