Title: semi-pro Football

Shot a Semi-pro playoff football game today.  These guys play just as hard as the pros.( But there is no pay!) clear down to talking smack! Which both teams did the whole game  :D  One guy did just sign with a
arena football team.

Not to be disrespectful in any way... but why do they call it "semi-pro"??? 

Alot of these guys were not even good enough to play college ball.

I know I can call myself a semi-pro photographer  ;D   because while I don't make my living at it, I do get published ( and paid) quite often. Just had 2 images published in Easyrider and there sister publication mag,  In the wind. Both are the current issues.

Great photography, no doubt.  But as Burt Reynolds correctly said in The Longest Yard (the real version, not Adam Sandler's gay version)...  "Semi-pro is a joke."

a lot of division 2 players in my area play for some semi pro team got the Erie Riverrats

i think they just don't want to get real jobs
