I laugh at some of the claims on here when the strongest man in my city of 120,000 deadlifts 650 for about three reps. ;D I'm not laughing at that lift - which is phenomenal - but at people who make similar claims [99% of getbig and the BB.com teen section ;D]. It also really puts in perspective some of the freaks on here - Chris Mason for instance. It also puts Layne Norton's strength into perspective when you consider the fact that Dallas previously placed fourth at the Ontario's Strongest Man contest.
And on a related note, the owner of that YouTube account is trained by Dallas. He is 20 years old and on the way to being one of the strongest men in the province. At 20, currently benches about 225X38.

Yeah....I don't understand why people here feel the need to make outlandish claims..... ::)
-
Yes, the guy is strong; but a 650 deadlift for three reps is really not that much for a guy competing at a high level in strongman. His other lifts must be stellar.
-
Lol, Layne norton OWNS him.
to be honest, for his size (and is he only trains for this) thats pretty weak. "650 for about three reps"

Here is the 650 deadlift clip:

Yes but your city is in canada. canada = smaller weaker asexual relative of US of A

Pipe down midget, 650 for reps is strong regardless of size.

In this years strongest man of Finland competition only 5 men could deadlift 660 pounds even once. That is pretty sad, but again gives you some kind of perspective.

Somebody wrote at T-nation (talking about deadlift):
"600lb a little tougher, very doable if you are just an average guy who puts in the work. not impressive but respectable."
;D ::)

I saw Justin Harris pull that 2 years ago. He may have even done in twice.
- Block!

this event is pretty lame my old man used to flip 650 lb barrels as part of his job, he'd do about 120 in a little over an hour at 170 lb bwt, i'd like to see these bloated turds do that. btw sometimes for fun he'd flip them with one hand just because he could.

What an abusive lifestyle.
After three deadlifts his complexion took on a dark purple hue.

The whole muscle and strength industry is an extreme one. I wish there was some way to become that big and strong without taking risks.
