Title: Anti-David Letterman Protest In New York Draws Approximately Three Dozen People
Post by: Straw Man on June 17, 2009, 08:22:26 AM
Insulted Much??

here's one thoughtful protestor:

“I’m outraged,” said protester Josephine Sarno, who held a sign reading “Over the line, Dave.” “It was a low blow. I’m insulted for women. I’m insulted for children. I’m insulted for families. I’m insulted"

google her name and you'll see she's a religious nut with a penchant for being offended by mcdonalds commercials.

The funniest thing was when the media labeled this group of liberal pantywaists "PALIN SUPPORTERS".  Which they are.  Which I'm sure she doesn't want or need.  Three dozen people is worse than no rally at all.

Why ANYONE would protest something so trivial is beyond my ability to understand. They make themselves look as stupid as Al Sharpton and his gang of rabble rousers.Letterman appologised,Palin accepted, its over. The last thing we need or want in this country is people being fired over others outrage.Get a life,or a job and move on.Why arent these people at work?

great point.

These are the same people that are offended by anything when it's convenient to their cause.  They may choose only to be offended when a person of a certain party or race says things.

They are little bytches.  It's that simple.  They are pathetic whiners.  We had a few people on here last week... "But his confusion on the daughter attending could be sconstrued as stat rape, which offends me!"

Really, STFU whiners.  Grow a set and go to work.

They probably are a great representation of exactly the type of people who are Palin supporters

Just 36 people who have nothing better to do and are obsessed with the issue.  They aren't relevant.
The joke was in bad taste, Letterman appologized, Palin accepted...next issue (or better yet, concetrate on the real issues like our economy sucking and this administration spending us into unprecidented debt).
