They serve an important role but does anyone here "like" them or completely indifferent to one crawling around in your house?

i carve off 6 legs with a knife and then watch em go around in circles! ;D

what is this bugzooka you speak of? Anything that creeps, crawls or can be considered a bug or in the bug family even if it's an arachnid belongs outside. Any trespassers are given capital punishment.
-
btw Toxy, no way am I watching that clip
Bugzooka:

STella, I can't believe you have one of these (http://www.bugzooka.com/assets/HighCeilings.jpg) You really are an infomercial junkie aren't you :D

They seem to work I haven't seen a bug any bug in my house in a couple months now.
what is a BugZooka? sounds rather painful and something that would make a really big splat.
edit: okay now I've seen but what does it do? I would kill somebody if the got a bug splat on my ceiling.

I saw the Bugzooka in a magazine (I think) years ago. I've had it for years!
You press in the bottom accordian part and then put the far end near/on the bug and press the red button and it SUCKS the bug up into a chamber where you can see it if you want to look at it but the chamber is also removable if you are feeling guilty and not lazy and you want to release the bug at your neighbor's.

too bad i cant get m16 firecrackers here in the US...they r pretty much like mini dynamite stix and can be used to blow up spiders...rats..and anthills! ;D

This made me laugh, I have no idea why but it is funny.
Glad I am not your neighbor btw ;)

after school my brother and i were pretty much left alone to our own devices..so it ws either horseback riding on the beach...or we'd arm ourselves with bbguns, firecrackers(for protection against stray rabid dogs)..get on our bikes and go rat and anthill hunting! (ocassionally if possible..some gasoline ws also at hand!)
we'd pretty much wander in and out of other peoples houses fully armed! :D and no one seemed to mind!
later on at the tender age of 13 and 14 repectively..we switched to "borrowing" my dads(me) and moms(my brother) cars with walkie talkies in hand and cordonate intricate attacks on the stray dog population as a means of revenge for previous misgivings >:(

try being a 10 yr old out jogging and a pack of20 or so dogs chases after ya(and this happens time and again...and some of your friends actually get bitten and maulled)...some of em with skin missing on their skulls...some foaming at the mouth...and the only way out is to climb the front gate into someone elses house or find the closest tree or pedal as hard as your little legs will go or get eaten...
that happens often enough and u get desensisized to the stray dog plight..
my brother ran over a few...
i shot a few from my car window(almost running into a wall in the process)
worst we did ws set fire to this huge bush growth with thorns..we knew a pack lived in it...and then we set up shop in nearby trees and shot everyone of em bastards that tried escape..the rest prolly burned

I understand but like most people I don't want to know the dark stuff. I'll eat my chicken but I sure as heck don't want to know the whole story behind it journey to my plate.
That spider is the type that bite Keith (Onlyme).
They just about amputated his leg over it.
-
yeap i ws about to say...thats the one that bit him

I like them. Especially in the summer..they keep the fly count in my house down. In the islands we used to catch gecko's and put them in our window to serve the same purpose..none here in seattle though
Had a tarantula pet when I was 13
-
bugzooka is kinda cool
-
Spiders, chameleons and Geckos are welcome and live in my house with no hassles.
They keep the mozzies, flys and other bugs under control and they are kinda cool
-
I can't have any insects inside my house ( that I know of ) or I can't sleep a wink .. I imagine they would crawl and poop all over me :-[
but I don't hunt them out so I'm not completely nuts about it
