How many of you eat vegetables on a regular basis and how important do you think it is to do so?

sjeeesj, every day ofc, essential part of a healthy diet: fibers, vitamins, trace elements. some extra veggies to replace some carbs.

almost every day plus some fruit and salad

1-2lbs of spinach or spinach and some other tender leafy vegetable a day, baby!

i try to have at least one serving a day

I try to eat any as often as I can (green beans, carrots, peas, broccoli...hell, anything really) but it's not for the lack of desire it's just tired of fixing them, buying them, etc. Guess it sounds lazy, but in my jaded view I guess I think to myself "I'm getting everything I need via meat and multivitamins, fuck the rest"

I eat spirulina (algae) supplement, 10 gram per day. Gives a lot of vitamins and minerals, good stuff! And i eat tomatoes, some cucumber every day and sometimes broccoli. I think it's important to get the vitamins and minerals. Veggies are important to optimize growth.

every single time i eat i try to make sure im eating a PH balanced meal... so I always make sure i have some fruits, vegetables, or vegetable supplement included.
when packing on size its more supplements and fruits... when dieting its much more on veggies.

It's one thing to consume those powdered green products or "super foods" as they are sometimes called. It's quite another to have to eat real vegetables. I just wonder how important are they. I rarely eat vegetables. I lean way more on the carnivore side. I figure my ancestors didn't claw their way to the top of the food chain to eat grass.

I eat them daily but not consistently. Or, is it that I eat them consitently but not daily?

Very important. I confess I don't like many veggies, but my cook makes sure I get two veggies on my dinner plate whenever we eat at home. Broccoli, squash, carrots, and corn are my favorites, but I'll try others when they are put before me. Unless I specifically say, "don't serve me that again" different ones are brought into the usual rotation. :P

You have a personal cook? Nice. How did you manage that? What do you do?

If there's salad with my dinner then yeah, otherwise I don't really eat enough.
Lately I've been trying to eat broccoli with at least one of my meals, and if I'm making scrambled eggs I'll throw in a tomato and carrot.
