Hell, we used to have "swarms" of Passenger Pigeons, and "swarms" of Carolina Parakeets.

Google Zeudi Araya...that is one very gorgeous Ethiopian (back in the day she was called the Black Sophia Loren)

And Passenger Pigeon meat was used to feed slaves back in the day, the meat was cheap.
