It's not all bad:
------------

Well, it's been pretty flat.  I get figures on 70-odd businesses, a lot of them daily.  Everything that I see about the economy is that we've had no bounce.  The financial system was really where the crisis was last September and October, and that's been surmounted and that's enormously important.   But in terms of the economy coming back, it takes a while.  There were a lot of excesses to be wrung out and that process is still underway and it looks to me like it will be underway for quite a while.  In the (Berkshire Hathaway) annual report I said the economy would be in a shambles this year and probably well beyond.  I'm afraid that's true.
Buffett also noted that he had a cataract operation on his left eye about a month ago.  He joked that he thought it might help him see "green shoots" for the economy, but so far he hasn't seen any hopeful signs.

Taking a firm position in an ongoing debate in the financial markets, Buffett says he's not concerned about deflation, but thinks inflation will be a problem in coming years.

Despite his negative view on the economy, Buffett still believes the stock market is attractive "over the next 10 years" when compared to alternatives like Treasury bonds.

Buffett endorsed Ben Bernanke's reappointment as Federal Reserve Chairman, saying "you couldn't do better."  He also praised Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.

Buffett repeated his criticism of "cap and trade" as a method to control pollution, saying it would be a huge, regressive tax.

Wow, where have we heard this before????

I have telling you people about this for months and have been laughed at over my concerns.  Well, even Buffet, an Obama supporter realizes the sham this is.

Thats not good enough for TA.How many gays do you employ? How many blacks? How many asians?Who cares if they can produce,it only matters that you have a diverse workforce.Making a profit should not be the goal, fairness and a level playing field is all that counts.Do you provide a place for the muslims to wash their feet?Do you have unlimited time off for women who are going through personal problems?Do you provide on site abortion counciling?Do you have sexual harrassment workshops?Diversity workshops? Those are things you should be concerned with.If you go broke, who cares,at least you will have been part of the solution and not part of the social greed thats destroyed this country.

They understand that if their customers have less money in their pocket due to taxes like this, said customers wil have less money to spend with their businesses and services provided.

Additionally, many of the businesses understand that their own pricing structure may get hurt if they have to pass along these costs to customers.

He meant that he used to handle the cock of someone who was nick named the jackhammer due to his gigantic cock size.

Now wait for a fake photo of Gaydonis with his sister to make us think it's his girlfriend  ::)

Sorry, I have no clue what you people call it.  My friends father owned the company called Meredith Pools and said, "You go with Stephen and he will show you how to break concrete with a Jackhammer."

So Stephen showed me and I did it for a summer.  I guess I never bothered to ask what the technical name was as I figured there was no "official" name.

All of the above apply.  I had a stock split in Alliant Tech post September 11 and bought my Lotus.

Should I waste time in posting pictures of me with it and my membership into the Lotus Club of America along with pictures of track days?

I feel it would be wasting time, but if you want to see them I can.

On CNBC they almost all agreed that any "recovery" is going to be all but non-existent with what Obama is doing.

The consensus among people who understand basic economics seems to agree.

Whether it be cap & trade, taxing health benefits, etc, there is not going to be any real recovery.
