Title: Incredible Mccain/Obama pics from today
Post by: 240 is Back on June 25, 2009, 11:37:27 PM
President Barack Obama speaks during a meeting with members of Congress, including Senator John McCain, to discuss immigration in the State Dining Room of the White House in Washington, DC.

mccain doesn't look all too happy to be listening to Obama speak.  Also, whatever that thing on the side of his face seems to be getting larger.   :-\

What's so incredible with these pics?

I mean, if you and your best buddy were seated next together, I'm sure some snaps taken during a long-ass sitting would come up as strained.

Not trying to "defend" McCain, but aren't you really creating drama out of thin air here, TBH?  ???

It does look a little strained - looks like he's thinking (and I apologize for the racism): "That n*gga took ma Job!"

All I see is an old man that needs to clip his nails and get rid of the comb over.

It looks fucking disturbing...

I'd have a hard time concentrating when speaking to the chap, I'd keep looking at it. Good job he doesn't converse with idiots like me.

Two disgusting assholes sitting side by side.

LOL

I think both are pretty decent actually.

Both have their flaws.

But eg McCain has some strong points that I agree with - opposition to torture.

Obama is a very fascinating character, and IMO perhaps "the person" of this generation.

Whether you like it or not.

His stance on filesharing is a big no-no for me, as I've pointed out. And there are other issues.

But I don't consider him an asshole.

see, I know i'm a tad dramatic, but I think these pics aare pretty big.  Mccain hates his guts.  It culd have been the other way just as easily had miss palin not been selected.  obama probably sat him there to create some perception of unity, and you know mccain hates being there.  plus, if that growth gets serious, this is the first chance we've had to see it at that size.

I'm seeing nixon and jfk sitting side by side begrudginly in 1961... that sort of image.  they just ran and it's still not past mccain at least.

Again, your wrong, McCain never really had a chance because he was tied at the hip to GWB.  It was only if he lost small or big.

McLame is not a conservative.

McLame is not a conservative.

He was tied in early september and leading in many polls.  INTRADE had him at 51%+ at one point.  And they're pretty damn reliable.  538 had him ahead at that point (and they nailed the final electoral outcome perfectly).

mccain is a war hero with tons of experience, likable and respected.
obama had no experience and was a minority, which didn't play well in many areas.

Something, either the economy or Palin fallin apart and being hidden from press, caused him to drop.

Obama also had a much better ground game and GOTV effort.

mccain 2000 would have beaten obama 2008.

Palin and Rudy shitting all over community organizers did nothing but motivate every community organizer in America to devote 6 months of their lives to getting obama elected.

Good observation.
