Age has certainly taken it's toll on Kevin. This man was benching 400 for 12 with EASE and 500 with EASE. Hell, he was even putting up 600 pounds until he tore his tricep in 1993. He's BARELY able to do a full 2 reps with 315 pounds. So, in 5 weeks, he MILDLY increased his strength from his first in the gym video. Is it the lack of drugs, or is it age, or is he just talking too much nowadays and not getting down to business enough?

This man was putting up 500 with EASE and PERFECT FORM...
My point was, in 5 weeks, he went from doing a half ass rep with 315 pounds, to 2 very difficult reps with the same weight. When on the juice, I would have expected him to KILL THIS SET with at least 6-8 good reps with 315. His second rep his left arm was already buckling. I'm not talking about YOU Poppa J. I'm talking about Kevin having been one of the strongest PRO's of ALL-TIME in the gym.

He could've done 4 or so.

In some of the earlier videos he really seemed to be holding back - only recently does he appear to be challenging himself with the weights. Makes it seem like his strength has increase more than I bet it has in reality.....

When these videos first started poppin up I thought, "dang Kevin, little desperate and pathetic huh?" Now, I think he's just enjoying being back in the gym lifting and interacting with folks again......I was wrong before. He seems just fine to me.

Well of course it is, he is just getting back into it. Looks like he got stronger, Kevin is not stupid he knows right now his strength and muscles are getting stronger than his tendons at this point, so he is holding back a bit to prevent an injury.
whatever anyone says the guy comes off as cool and humble at this point. seems totally likeable.

When he started he couldn't push 315 for 1... MAYBE 275lbs... So in actuality his strength increase has been significant!

Just to clarify, this means he can still bench 265 lbs more than the average getbigger for 2 reps? Is my math right?

Well of course it is, he is just getting back into it. Looks like he got stronger, Kevin is not stupid he knows right now his strength and muscles are getting stronger than his tendons at this point, so he is holding back a bit to prevent an injury.
Anyone who lifts regularly and has for a long time would know this, interesting what that says about the rampant speculation from the rest here.
He's only been back 5 weeks after a very long layoff, what do you expect lol. He already looks alot better.
