I'm from south jersey, 15 minutes away from Philly...which isn't all that bad. But you're probably right about 80% of that stuff!!!

No attractive, mature, woman I know would be caught dead with that fool if he was dressed like in the picture. I used to work in the club world, geeks like that are a dime a dozen.

No doubt Pittsburgh is a city of champions. Much respect. Still wouldn't want to live there, though.
Baltimore has a World series championship(1983) and a SuperBowl Champion (2000). Not a bad resume but still lots of room for improvement. Maybe Joe Flacco can change our fortunes one day.
Living in Baltimore city wouldn't be the worst thing in the world these days. The visual landscape is constantly improving for the better. But I still love the outside suburbs and my cozy home. 8)

wow a world series title from the early 80's and super bowl title from 9 years ago, you're on your way ::)
this article might be of interest to you ;)

and where did baltimore finish on the economist's "most livable city" list?

If that link is your trusted source of credibility and you stand by it, then good for you. Like I said, I prefer to live outside the Baltimore city lines. As far as living in Pittsburgh....not a chance. But thanks for the link to the article. Since you place a lot of credibility to this article, I'll place just as much credibility to this one particlar thread post from that very same article:
I'd much rather live in the Baltimore than Pittsburgh. Baltimore is the next New York City, it's hip, growing, and rich with unique culture, culture outsiders wouldn't understand.
Pittsburgh is a city still hanging on to a dying industry. The city has the the second worst air condition in the country, behind Detroit, and the EPA has a big red X marked over Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is dying.
I have a lot of respect for the Steelers and Penguins, even though I hate them, but Baltimore is a much better place to live. Having lived in Pittsburgh for two years for my job, I think I can say that I like Charm City more than Steel City.
And a championship is a championship, no matter how recent or long ago it was. However, I seem to recall the Steelers going through a 25 year drought before 2005's title so I'm not sure I understand you're earlier comment? And when's the last time the Bucs won a World Series again? 1979?

I live north of the city, about a 20 minute drive
it is not hanging on to a dying industry, it has grown in many ways, the only thing this guy gets right is pittsburgh teams are far superior to baltimore teams which was the gist of his article
heck I know people living in fort lauderdale that can't wait to get back to the burgh, baltimore the next new york city hahahaha
the guy had to take his shots at the burgh, which is typical for baltimorons when their teams get owned :D
pittsburgh has more titles in the last 4 years than baltimore has in what, 30 years?

I agree that's a stupid remark. But I don't agree that Pittsburgh has 'owned' Baltimore. When's the last time the Steelers have blown out the Ravens? Every game that I can remember in the last 3 years has been tightly contested. You've won most of the games of course,(except for the 2006 season, which you were humilated in two games) but it's not like you've dominated. If winning outright is 'owning', then so be it.
look, there's not much to argue here. The Steelers have the bragging rights but the outcomes will be different with a more poised, seasoned Joe Flacco. To be the first rookie quarterback in NFL HISTORY to win two (road!)playoff games is special. To take a wildcard team one game short of the Superbowl is nothing short of remarkable. 'Sugar' Ray Lewis is still playing at a high level and T-sizzle is close to signing a a long-term extension.. It's on, baby!
Can't wait for the season to start. Fuck summer!

By the way, much respect to Rooney becoming a U.S. ambassador to Ireland. Pretty classy.
