Not talking about DC static stretching, but just stretching in general. I'm starting to feel quite tight through the hip flexors and hamstrings, and much less mobile now days and feel that an added stretching program may be beneficial.
Does anyone do this? Is it worth adding to a training regimen?

I always stretch,
and if someone suggests me not to stretch, even if hes right, i would still continue to because im used to.

Definitely helpful.
I stretch my hamstrings/lower back almost every day, helps/ed with lower back pain.
Biceps, triceps and forearms most days too.
And always stretch the muscles I just trained.

I started stretching after a lower back injury and it helped me a lot. I've got out of the habit now, which is no good, but I still stretch the muscles after a workout.

i stretch everyday. basic stuff: dont really know if it help with lifting, but it does keep me limber. so i can be a fat ass who can touch his toes
-
Stretch my meat after every set.

I do light stretches after every set of the bodypart I'm working -- increases the pump for me and I keep the mind/muscle connection there the entire workout. I also do some general stretching and warm up prior to getting into the actual workout. Best to do whatever necessary to stay injury-free, as being injured SUCKS!

I read an article in Mens Fitness (stop laughing) that some University found that if you stretch before you lift, you won't be able to lift as much or with as much intensity. They suggested stretching after you are done lifting.
I tried it and I barely feel the difference to be honest. I tend to stretch so I can keep flexibility for the sport I play..ie - injury prevention

Definitely stretching after. I agree with that men's fitness article. My leg workouts suffer if i do too much stretching.
Like a couple of other guys have mentioned, i stretch the lower back and hamstrings regularly just keep limber and prevent any tighness.

stretching both before (post warmup), during to prevent binding and facilitating ROM and elasticity, and PWO!
..i also indulge in myo-therapy and love it!
all in all it prevents loss of ROM, connective tissue elasticity, and uneven muscle tension and development which leads to all kinds of other problems and potential injuries.
