Title: question regarding muscle surgerys/repairs..
Post by: MAXX on July 04, 2009, 10:20:24 AM
thought there might be someone here with experience with this. ortopedic maybe (lol yeah right on getbig)..

anyways I think I have a partial tear in my front delt. problem is I have been waiting 6 months to do anything about it since one shitty ortopedic(girl- seemed newly examined) told me there wasn't a tear. But now I'm almost 100% sure there is! Anyways is there any point in doing a surgery so long after the tear??  :-\

spare me clown remarks

thanks

I know pec tears have been repaired more than a decade after the fact.

really. that's good to know.

I think mine is strain (patrial tear) not a complete tear. Because i have good funktion in the muscle but it looks bad visually compared to the other delt. The injured front delt is much shorter than my other that is full and round all the way down to the insertion in the humeros bone.

That signifies that it is a strain right?

I don't know. Demand a second opinion and an MRI or whatever needs to be done to properly diagnose it.
