everybody today should try something.
i made a thread about this before and the reply was dismal. i thought everybody on here would do this.
put on music, whatever is your favorite music. make it something that has a good melody/beat/rythm, thats possible to move to.
nthen get in front of a mirror that will allow you to see all of your body, in good lighting. either wear a tank top, or take your shirt off. either be wearing under wear, or pull your shorts up so your legs show, or just go naked.
then just start flexing your muscles. flex it to the music. like a posing routine, if you want.
once you start doing it, im sure youll do it everyday and find yoursel fi front of the mirror flexing for 30mins at a time..

I don't Flex for 30 mins to guy music, but I do hit poses in front of the mirror.
Arnold said back in the day that he believes practicing posing gave him a much better mind muscle connection and more "POP" when he hit a shot. i think Kai Green says something similar

id bet that a big majority of top amatuers and pros do this very same thing. im quite suprised at the big number of you guys who dont do anything like this.

its like doing cardio. you sweat like a pig.
The last 2 weeks before a contest you stop the cardio completely to give your body a rest, get out those striatins and detail on your legs, and not appear "worn out" on stage from 2 hours cardio a day.
these 2 weeks intead of cardio you pose everyday for 20-30 minutes. But you have to be ahead of schedule and already contest ready, almost, to do that
And finally in the carb up (3 days) you hit all the mandatory poses for like 10 minutes after each meal, in order your muscles to get these carbs in, like a sponge.

A few years back we were all helping this new bodybuilder who had a hell of a lot of potential to prepare to enter his first contest.
One of the gym members was assigned to help him with a posing routine and worked with him for a few weeks in front of the gym mirror.
Once he felt he had it down , he told him to practice that same routine every night before he went to bed in front of a home mirror.
SO for the next few months he worked it to perfection in front of his mirror at home.
Then the day of the contest came and when he stood on the prejudging stage all ready to hit his posing routine, he didn't have that mirror. All he saw were the judges and the audience in front of him. But no mirror! No reflection!
And without that mirror he completely blew it!
And I've hard stories of this happening to many others.
There's a lesson there someplace.
BTW, do any of you GetBiggers recall the story of Frank Zane actually levitating while doing a posing routine in a remote African village when the whole tribe turned out to see him?
And it was no trick! It wasn't done with mirrors either!
