They hog the benches and cable machines.
They make lots of noise, work in groups and shake hands a lot.
And yes, they are always looking around to see if they are being watched.....

Hank... at least Steve Namat is making something out of this need to feel bigger... he also isn't the "cliche" because he is not all disgruntled, aggressive and bitter like his short man syndrome counterparts... in fact he seems mellow and down to Earth
HAHA btw... your post is 100% correct and is EXACTLY what happens at the gym I go to... always shake hands and its almost like a relief when they meet their shorter friends... always grunting really loud and being obnoxious sometimes perhaps to get attention? of course shying away from anybody tall :D

Hank, maybe if you had not being taken seriously just by a glance... and at the mercy of everybody else's needs and wants... the very fact many women are taller than you... you would too find the gym a solace for you to say a big "fuck you" to everybody and throw those dumbbells and hog them and circulate in short man packs with angry face...
