typical Sunday morning in "real" America ;D

I`d like to know the number who are ministers and in on the game completely just as tarot card readers, psychics and the like.
There has to be a good deal of them out there. I know there are several books written by ministers turned atheists, who kept preaching at church secretly as atheists because they didn`t know what else to do or how to tell their flocks that its all bullshit.
Even Mother Theresa at the time of death no longer believed in any of it.

its obvious he was hypnotizing people, just like those dumb shows when the guys makes people act like chickens or whatever. great find you got there adonis ::)
-
adonis brother, you have to be atleast pro spiritual in the sense that everything in science is understandble through complex "math"
thus god= a math science yet to be fully understood
lets not dwell on the fools that spend all day picking on the human-god concepts
anything created by human, unlike math as a straightfoward science, should be ignored
-

No-one there has been hypnotized. They are all doing it because they think everyone else is 'feeling God' and they get in on the act because they don't want to feel to be the odd one out. They are all pretending.
Like I said on the other thread where this was posted, most go home wondering why they didn't feel it but quickly put this out of their tiny minds & repeat the process at the next event.
Pure mass hysteria.
-
we get it, you shun organized religion, laugh at the conccept of god, and absolutely disdain christianity............ .......congradulations, everyone is very impressed at how "progressive" and "enlightened" you are. now stop being a vitriolic sheep and going out of your way to tell everyone about it all day long, your just fucking boring.
being an athiest does not automatically make someone smart, your are a self-fulfilling archetype proving so.

I feel sorry for the children at that event.being raised by those quacks will either take years of counseling to get over or worse they will conform to these wacko's & join in on the cool aid drinking.

I bet you are intolerant and close-minded conserning many things that are nowhere near as silly as christianity...
By the way: calling it as I see it doesn't make me intolerant, it makes me aware. ;)
AND! Religious people are the most intolerant people around. ;D

Ol' Dad Hagin. That's called "Holy Laughter" considered a moment of power manifested by the Holy Spirit. A while back my wife and I went to a speaking engagement by a promenent woman preacher that comes on tv and i saw it first hand..i do'nt know if it was orchestrated or not but this is how it went.. First there was a group of people on the floor level that started laughing, then as if in groups that jumped sporatically all over the convention center people started laughing first here then there , then back on this side and back to that..Very weird, people talking in toungues rolling on the stage etc..
-
Weird. Is that some kind of cult?
Don't think there is any biblical support for "holy laughter."
-
Interesting to note that both Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland Ministries are on Ministry Watch Alert
(summary from MinistryWatch.com)
Kenneth Copeland Ministries - SENATE INVESTIGATION
"Senator Chuck Grassley, ranking member of the Committee on Finance, has asked this organization for information regarding expenses, executive compensation, and amenities given to executives. The inquiry is part of Grassley's long-standing interest in making sure tax-exempt organizations are accountable to donors. The investigation is because of complaints from the public and news coverage. Grassley said in part, "People who donated should have their money spent as intended and in adherence w/the tax code.""
RHEMA/Kenneth Hagin Ministries - TRANSPARENCY GRADE OF "F"
"This ministry does not post their audited financial statements on a website and based on MinistryWatch.com's request for basic information, nor would they give any to MinistryWatch.com. Without information donors cannot make optimal decisions. Understand what it is you are going to support. Ministries that are not open in providing basic information are obstructing prudent donors in understanding. In addition, Ministries are seen by many as teachers and ones w/authority. What are these ministries teaching by their example? Are others to follow their example? What would the nonprofit sector look like if they all followed the example of a closed shop?...."

Same goes for trinity hahahaah. ;D ;D ;D ;D Owned. :D

Same goes for trinity hahahaah. ;D ;D ;D ;D Owned. :D
Why? Because the word "Trinity" isn't in the bible?
1 Peter 1:2
...who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Romans 9:5
5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
Acts 26:8
Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead?
Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
2 Corinthians 13:14
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all
Trinitowned!!! ;D

Well, the part about Mother Theresa is flat-out FALSE. What Mother Theresa wanted was for Jesus Christ to be glorified in her works. While she did have moments of despair and a crisis of faith (name one Christian who hasn't), she at no time rejected her faith.
And, of course, you conveniently forget that there are plenty of atheists who have become Christians. Or, should I post the covers of the books, "The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel or "Evidence that Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell, two former skeptics who became believers and are not strong preachers of faith.

Doesn't mention them being the same thing...
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
What the hell is this word?
John 1:14
14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Talking about this weird word thing again...
Romans 9:5
5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
Jesus is another god? Not the Yahweh one...
Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
Talking about different beings...
Acts 26:8
Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead?
God worked through Jesus maybe?
Matthew 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Doesn't mention them being the one and only.
2 Corinthians 13:14
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all
Doesn't mention them being the one and only.
Trinitowned!!! ;D
Also, Jesus talked to god. So Jesus isn't god. Owned again.
Remember, monotheistic belief was rare at the time. So people would be inclined to believe into several gods...and that is basically christianity even today...

I bet God even laughed at that, shaking his head...how silly and disrespectful to be honest.

The fact still remains that these are intelligent, educated, former atheists turned Christians. And there are many more, Francis S. Collins, former director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, being another one of them.

Hitchens' so-called fact providing is on the same level of slapstick comedy as that of Dawkins. But, that's not the point.

SO?
It's Maher's movie. He can edit it to make anyone look anyway he wishes.
As Loco said, the fact remains that there are atheists who have indeed become Chrisitans and vice versa.

dawkins is a very prominent scientist, one of world revered research and a resume that speaks for itself. Hitchens is one of the greatest intellecuals of our time, voted as such. They both wipe there ass with strobel.

The late Dr. D. James Kennedy was also voted one of the greatest intellectuals of our time, too. What's your point?
anyone who defends creationism is not very bright.

Tell that to Dr. Ben Carson, one of the greatest neurosurgeons on the planet, the first one (I believe) to successfully separate cojoined twins.
Or, tell that to the aforementioned Dr. Kennedy.

so he beleive that evolution is false, all species were placed on earth as is? that the earth is 6000 years old? or are you saying that he believes in god?
because if he believes evolution is false, that species were created from nothing and placed on earth in there current forms, then yes, he is dumb.
