My glasses broke today - I had to superglue them and sellotape them. Its a good job but epicly nerdy.
Ill order new specs tomorro.

They pay for your lenses and up to a certain amount for frames (50quidish) if you are under 16.
If you are under 19 and in full time education you also get the lenses free.
I get nothing free anymore

Takes time, but eventually they feel normal, even if you only wear them a few days a week.

You're not alone in muscle geekdom mate. I only have to spectacle-up for driving, but my geek-dom extends beyond that.
Ever thought about laser surgery? I wouldn't let anyone anywhere near my eyes with a laser!

I know a guy who eye sight got worse and spent 7k in total on it all.
Plus personally i think its a relatively new procedure and god knows what teh side effects in 20years will be.
PLus I dont mind my glasses

Please! I'm Canadian. My Da did a sabbatical year at Warwick Uni, and we lived in Leamington Spa, which was, like, 5 miles away. Used to play tennis ball soccer before, at recess, and after school. Never was any good.
