Oh god that brought bad back memories from high school. I played so much Quake I would literally snap my head back and forth to look at things. I had ridiculous reaction times but it would scare the shit out of people.

Why after a minute they didn't have the guy in some sort of sex scene with the girl trying to get her bra/pants off is beyond me :-\

haha quake was truly revolutionairy game. i remember the first time i played it. it looked so real and exiting.

Duke 3d was the best... although Quake had it's moments too!  one of the best times of my life was when I hacked into my computer sci's netware server and installed warcraft 2 so we could have 16 person multiplayer lan gaming during class, fucking awesome times! computer programming was never that much fun!

yes i played that demo of duke3d and i couldnt wait to buy the game. it was fucking sick.
