Everyone is compared to there previous showings.. that's just how it is. And Bob has not reached that same showing he did in the USA's. Rusty may not have ever peaked to the level Bob did there but he has came in at the same level almost every time.

Not necessarily...I was relegated to the amateurs for years because I couldnt get my conditioning up to match everything else....Rusty was no different...which is why he had to qualify via the Masters Nats

I have never really liked pictures of the bodies of older men even though I am over 60 myself now. Mind you I have never worked out in my life as my involvement in bodybuilding has been restricted to photography. I much prefer the aesthetics of a younger man.
So to ask me which is better, Youngblood or Cicherillo, is just like asking me if I prefer dogshite or pigshite on my shoe. I prefer neither dear boys. ;)

first of all,,dont even compare anyone but arnold and dorian to ron colman ,,those are the absolute only bodybuilders who were in the zone to be compared to ron colman ,,ron colman bloated mess in that picture still ook better than ray in his best picture! and ray is top 10 bodybuilders ever!
second ,,bobbie has much better physiqe than rustry ,,,he is bigger and same condition same body fat ,,that all that matters ,,,muscle shape and all this balonie is ok when you got someone who is amatuer bodybuilder at local show against professiona,,,in this case you got 2 professionals ,,,one is bigger and same condition same body fat% ONLY BIGGER thus taking it ,,

i understand that GH, i was being sarcastic and facetious............the first post put an offseason chick against a competition ready jeffers..........i was commenting on the absurdity of it, how if you chose the right photos, you can make anybody look bad.
ron coleman is the greatest bodybuilder that ever lived, leaps and bounds above even the second best.........we may never again see someone walk on stage carrying that kinds of mass, density, proportions, detail, and shreadedness........a true mutant

Rusty has an aesthetic and complete physique. Everything is in proportion and all bodyparts well developed. His muscle are long and shapely. His posing is nice to watch.
Contrast that to Bob with Turnip thighs that haven't been seen on stage since Reg Lewis back in the 60s. Bob's calves are too small compared to his arms. He did dig deep into his archives to restore some respect with some decent shots. However, the shots of Rusty here show a superior physique.
The Masters Pro goes down in history along side the Olympia in 1981 as perplexing decisions. We know how Bob was anointed for his title. Or was that appointed? No one can explain how Franco won in 1981. If you ask either bodybuilder they will swear they both deserved to win.

Why do people talk about Bob beating Rusty in 2006 as if he was the only one? There were others who did too, so why not give them flak? Aesthetics alone do not win bodybuilding contests and Bob was bigger and in the same condition as Rusty. Personally I prefer Rusty's physique, but this is bodybuilding and size matters.

The show was open to all IFBB pro's over 40 so its ridiculous to say that that show was created for Bob to actually win.
Bob didn't have control over who showed up at the event. In addition, another former Masters Olympia Claude Groulx competed as well as Johnnie Stewart and Pavol so there was some actual competition in my opinion as each of those two people and other were capable of beating Chick
It was an open gun show and Chick brought the best guns to the showdown that day. Its been 3 years since that show took place and people still bitch over it but it isn't going to change the fact as to who won.
Rusty came in watered down at pre-judging and that cost him dearly. He looked much better at the night show but to win a show, you have to make the first impression count.
