Did you read that article about him in Rolling Stones a few years back?

The band didn't even recognize him years later when he was sitting in the recording studio.

Because no one knew about Syd Barrett and that includes fans of Pink Floyd. It's like when people think of Iron Maiden, they think of Bruce Dickinson and not Paul Dianno.

VERY OLD NEWS. Syd had shaved his entire body hair (including eye brows) and had gained like 80 pounds. He also had a toothbrush and kept brushing his teeth. That was 1975. They WISHED HE WAS THERE and even though he was in the room with them, he was FARRRRRRRRRRRRR AWAY.

Killers is my favorite Maiden album. I think all Maiden fans can agree that Blaze Bailey sucked a huge dick.

unless your the lead singer you wont get that much attention, plus Pink Floyd still went on after he was out of the band, whereas someone like Hendrix or Jim Morrison was the band
