it seems everyone's on Kai's nuts these days talking about how great his back is
for whatever reason, I think people forget just how ridiculous Phil looks when he turns around
needless to say, this Olympia will be incredible

I don't think the photos are completely fair because of different angles, distances, and show lighting

Don't think so. Think the Ironman 08 was his best showing so far + the lightning at the Ironman is by faaaaaaaar the best from all shows + the Arnolds the worst. Kai would probably look ridicolous on the Ironman stage.

Why don't you use pics of Kai from this year's Arnold? He gets the hype because of his improvements since last year. Checkhis back at the Australian Pro show this year, wide and low lats, and hard as nails. Phil is great too so should be a good show in october!

In terms of crispness and quality, Phil wins. But Kai is a freak with a lot of quality also. These 2 are both insane when you really look at them. Edge to Phil. I think :-\

Kai has cornered the market on the most size with insane conditioning since Ronnie left,
but I think Phil is just put together better and isn't far behind him with the mass/cuts combo

Phil can get drier than Kai too, which brings out a whole different level of detail. Kai's back is thicker and wider, but Phil's has more going on. Just about even on the whole.

Kai nor Phil will ever achieve this level of muscularity. Although Coleman is not at his best here this pic shows just how unfreakingbelieveable this guy was.

No, Ronnie's structure was better plus he was a bigger individual to start with compared to both of them.
Kai is one of the best BBers in the world, his weakness is a short torso and the abdomen which makes him look too boxy IMO.

Neither in the FDB. They are only insane in the Levrone pose and in the most muscular (like Kevins arms himself; they looked like nothing in the double biceps as well).
