Title: Tanning Beds Now Labeled as Carcinogens
Post by: MM2K on July 28, 2009, 11:23:03 PM: The International Health Association has now supposedly garnered enough research to label tanning beds as carcinogens along with alcohol and tobacco.

Personally I always thought that the scare of tanning beds causing cancer even if you dont burn was like the hysteria of second hand smoke causing lung cancer. Personally I have thought that as long as you use your head and approach tanning in a careful and methodocal manner and dont allow yourself to burn extremely or continuesly that you would be ok. But a landmark decision like this nevertheless will cause you to think a second time.

I would think bodybuilders have been tanning for years and years. Didnt Arnold have naturally light skin? He got a nice color, and at the age of 62 he doesnt have skin cancer. Any thoughts?
