wow, we have major obesity issues and heart disease because we're some fat McD eaters... but when something is diagnosed, we do seem to have the best track record for defeating it.  Very sobering chart there.

Very nice James, however if you would have taken the time to actually look at  the chart you would have noticed the results are from a 2000 -2002 study.

Hitting the nail on the head here.  We need to worry less about AIDS and more about diet in this country.

The US tops Canada overall.  I don't think anyone has questioned that if you have money and insurance America provides some of the best health care the world has to offer.  The issue is access to such things.  This proves you can have socialist medicine and not lose out on health care.

I also heard a sad statistic that if you take blacks out of the picture in this country, we would be the same as Europe and Canada with regard to health issues and crime rates.
