Dear sirs:
I'm in the process of renewing my passport, and still cannot believe this?
How is it that Radio Shack has my address and telephone number and knows that I bought a t.v. cable from them back in 1987, and yet, the Federal Government is still asking me where I was born and on what date?
For Christ sakes, do you guys do this by hand? My birth date you have on my social security card, and it is on all the income tax forms I've filed for the past 30 years. It is on my health insurance card, my driver's license, on the last eight damn passports I've had, on all those stupid customs declaration forms I've had to fill out before being allowed off the planes over the last 30 years, and all those insufferable census forms that are done at election times.
Would somebody please take note, once and for all, that my mother's name is Maryanne, my father's name is Robert and I'd be absolutely astounded if that ever changed between now and when I die!!!!!! SHIT!
I apologize, I'm really pissed off this morning.. Between you an' me, I've had enough of this bullshit! You send the application to my house, then you ask me for my fuckin' address. What is going on? You have a gang of Neanderthal assholes workin' there! Look at my damn picture. Do I look like Bin Laden? I don't want to dig up Yasser Arafat, for shit sakes. I just want to go and park my ass on a sandy beach. And would someone please tell me, why would you give a shit whether I plan on visiting a farm in the next 15 days? If I ever got the urge to do something weird to a chicken or a goat, believe you me, I'd sure as hell not want to tell anyone!
Well, I have to go now, 'cause I have to go to the other end of the city and get another fuckin' copy of my birth certificate, to the tune of $60. Would it be so complicated to have all the services in the same spot to assist in the issuance of a new passport the same day?? Nooooo, that'd be to damn easy and maybe makes sense. You'd rather have us running all over the fuckin' place like chickens with our heads cut off, then find some asshole to confirm that it's really me on the damn picture - you know, the one where we're not allowed to smile?! (bureaucratic fuckin' morons)

Hey stupid,THE FUCKING FILTHY GOVERNMENT wants to take over health care.I know you never had to change anything,your a fucking shut in who still lives with his mommy and daddy.
We moved to Indiana.My wife went to change her licence over.She had a certificate from the hospital with her foot prints in it,but it wasn't the original birth certificate.They wouldn't allow her to changer her licence using her out of state licence.She had to have a birth certificate.
To get the birth certificate,what form of ID did she use?Her fucking drivers licence.So,to get her drivers licence she couldn't use her out of state licence,but to get her birth certificate to get the licence she could use her out of state licence.Now,do you see how fucked up the government is?They cant do ANYTHING right.
I know your mommy and daddy take care of that stuff for you,but adults actually have to deal with that crap everyday.
By the way,you seem to not like cutting and pasting UNLESS a fucking lib like 240 does it.Very strange.

If she (because I know you couldn't) had read the requirements for getting them, then you would have went down with the original birth certificate in the first place. And not some stupid footsie prints. Or perhaps if the clumsy thing hadn't lost her birth certificate in the first place, she wouldn't have had to run around getting a replacement.

As you may - or may not - be aware, my employer is one of the largest hospitals in South FL with networks everywhere else as well. So that gives me a bit more insight to this issue than someone else who simply looks for an excuse to rant.
Healthcare for our citizens here can only be a positive thing under the right applications.
That being said to express my view on healthcare, to answer your question on whether the govt could run it well or even correct, I do not believe they can. I believe that it would be a blanket plan just thrown out there which after the initial process of registration and acceptance would end up being nothing more than a further extension of what most people view as welfare abuse.

The whole problem with this idea of government run health care beside the fact that the government for the most part is inept and running anything, is it is unconstitutional. The constitution limits the power of the fed and defers that to the states via the 10th Amendment.

In addition to the many other reasons I am against govt run health care, when the insurance carriers are run out of business and the govt is the only game in town, you lose all choice and are forced to accept what ever crap sandwhich the gov gives you. There will be no incentive for quality care or good customer service.
The govt is mostly to blame for the price inflation now, let alone what will happen when it is "free".
