SHREVEPORT, LA - Alexander Stillwell "BULL" Buteau was born May 2, 1986 and passed away July 25, 2009 as a result of a tragic car accident. A memorial service celebrating the life of Bull will be held Wednesday July 29, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church. Dr. Pat Day will be officiating the service. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Rose-Neath Marshall Street.
Bull was a graduate of Captain Shreve High School in 2005 and was attending the University of Louisiana at Monroe, pursuing a Construction Management Degree. Bull was currently employed as a Project Manager for Wicker Construction.
Bull loved his family above all and their happiness was his joy. He was preceded in death by his father, Major David Ronald Buteau, Jr. USAF and grandmother, Patricia Buteau. Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Norma Stevens Buteau and step-father, Dennis Tarver of Shreveport, LA, brother, David Buteau III and wife, Erinn of Shreveport, grandparents, David Ronald Buteau, Sr. of Walton, NY, Col. and Mrs. Walter C. Stevens, Jr. of Bossier City, niece, Georgia Buteau of Shreveport, nine uncles, seven aunts, and many cousins and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Buteau, Parker Maxwell, Thomas Frierson, Garrett Nesbitt, Bailey Griffith, Christian Frierson, and Miller Lewis.
Bull's passion was the outdoors - hunting and boating - all of which included his many friends. Bull touched many lives with his embracing personality and constant search for the next adventure. His smile, compassion, and laughter will be missed the most.
