sambo tounaments are'nt another org...

the UFC's concern was that he might get hurt in a sambo tournament and be unavailable to fulfill his UFC obligations...

sambo = jiu jitsu ground game + judo

The UFC wants him to fight under their flag, if he fights in some random Sambo tournament they won't make any money out of it. And if he might gets hurt in a Sambo tournament, he will not be able to fight in the UFC for a while... debateable.

Dana just said he would let Fedor fight in sambo. This was not an issue in the latest
contract talks. Fedor is just a pussy. That is all.

While Dana's words hav to be taken with a grain of salt because he owns the MMA press, Fedor should have made this happen if the numbers quote are anywhere near correct.  He owes it to his family and the window is closing.

Some of you guys are really insane. How is Fedor a pussy? He doesnt give a shit about name recognition; He has plenty of money, is a rock star in his own country and has never lost a fight.

I suppose he should just go to the UFC because you want him to sign the contract-- otherwise hes a pussy. Is that about right?

To say he's afraid is patently absurd. Afraid of who!??! Outside of Brock Lesnar, there is nobody at heavyweight that is even worth watching him fight. I dont think him decapitating Noguerra again or hospitalizing Randy Coture is going to prove anything. Bottom line is that there is only one fight anyone wants to watch and for the next three fights its not going to happen. Big fucking deal. After the three fights hes a free agent again and can ( if he wants) sign with the UFC.

Fine...I just don't think he can maintain his number one status without fighting in the big show. This happens to be the UFC.
I don't care about his legacy and neither does he.  His undefeated status is meaningless if he keeps fighting cans and freakshows.

The big show is at the moment only Brock Lesnar, who would you wanna watch him fight against?

The big show is the UFC as a whole. I want to see Fedor fight in front of the biggest audience and get with a company
that has the money to show who Fedor really is. To alot of people he is just 'some russian guy'
Fedor knows the UFC has the best competition. That is why he is in strikeforce now.
He is a pussy until proven otherwise. Never used to be though.

I'm also dissappointed that he is not in the UFC by now, I'd love to see him destroy Lesnar and i also think he'll be in the UFC eventually... but do not think he has to prove anything.

He will never be in the UFC...that is fact. He does not have to prove anything
but he still has to earn his #1 status. Fedor is living off his 2002 years.

Dude he is far from needing money.  It was not the money.  The UFC is like the IFBB they want to control his life.  They had already said a number of his sponsors would have to pay an additional fee to the UFC and a few would have to be dumped cause of conflict.  He (unlike IFBB pros) did not cave in to them and said okay you guys are cool cause you are paying me alot of money.  Some people have integrity and some don't.  The people who thinks he is stupid for not taking what the UFC offered are mostly people with no integrity.  They will do whatever for the money.  I applaud him.

By beating Brock Lesnar?

I am not saying Brock is the best HW right now...but he is the biggest name that Fedor could fight right now in HW.
Brock has been impressive in his short but dominant career. Most MMA fans want this fight.
If Fedor could demolish Brock it would definitely be earning his #1 spot. That is all I am saying.

If he beat Brock, there is no telling who the best opponent would be.

Better at leg locks, not so good with positions, transitions and set ups.
