How much do you curl for 8 reps with dumbells?
Some getbiggers doubted my claim that i can curl 60lbsx8, i just finished my biceps workout today, banged out the 60lbers for 8 reps with good form, in the next month i will probably move up to 65lbs. : \ i wish i didn't have to lift this heavy to get bigger, i may switch to concentration curls with super slow movement so i can lighten the weight.
note: when i started 19 months ago i could only curl 30lbs, my strength has doubled lol.

Doing hammers i could probably get 8 with the 60's. Form mighten be too good though. Never been a very good curler.

VERY ZUPER EXERCISE, I CAN EAZY CURL WITH 10 POUNDS FOR 8 REPS. NO CHEATING. JUST LIKE THE NASSER TAUGHT ME.

I can curl 55lbs dumbells with "reasonable" form for about 8 reps....

not bad but not perfect.

Do you guys do them standing or seated? If you do them standing, I suggest you try them seated. Try them with the bench set between a shoulder press setting and an incline bench setting. No swing and forces better form IMO.

I sometimes do hammers or regular db curls on the preacher. Just sit on the preacher bench facing the other (wrong) way. Allows you to pin your elbows against the pad so you can't move them at all. Kinda like an arm blaster, ala Arnold.....

I've done that before too. I prefer the bench because I just feel it a little different. and, like you, I don't like regular preachers. Feel it more in the bend of my elbow than in the bicep.

Awe, don't worry buddy. After you train for 30+ years you'll be able to get them. Hey, the time just fly's by. You'll be there before you know it. ;D

Yeah, I hear you. You would think so. That's why I'm not that proud. Anyway, it doesn't matter how much you curl, it only matters how much you look like you can curl.

45 pounds, i could do more but right now i'm doing circuit training and it really takes a lot out of you.

45 lbs is the minimum required db curl for all my schmoehos.
I can curl the 60s, but look a lot better doing the 55s.
The variance in what we all lift on this exercise appears to be smaller than I'd expect. For example, if I can curl the 60s, then shouldn't a big guy like Mars be curling the 75s?
