Sorry - was that a trailer for Terminator 5, the end of a Die hard movie, a trailer for Space Cowboys 2 ? Music sure fit.
Do you guys in the US really go for this stuff ? I mean, the music, the imagery etc ? The young hero coming up to take on the establishment ? "Reclaim Washington for liberty", "Freedom from government", "Putting a stop to everything they are doing" etc - what a load of bullshit.
He needs new PR or he's just more of the same. Next it'll be "Pete Schiff - Change you can believe in".

that being said, schiff obviously knows a lot about the economy. I wonder why he'd go up against an expereinced top finance guy like this. Schiff isn't just trying to get into the senate- he's trying to knock out the top denate Dem while doing so. Bold move. Personally, I'd move to idaho and carpetbag my way into office. schiff has balls.

Experienced? Experienced enough to take sweet heart "mortgages" and dump trucks full of campaign "donations" from AIG. And to sit at the top of the Senate and, apparently, not know what the hell was going on when it all came apart.

I have listened to Peter Schiff... I like much of what he has to say.
As for this infomercial - it discredits him.
Reminds me of a Gillette ad - "Be all that you can be" - or was that the Marines ? Same shit.

The guy is on the money with most of what he says, and if you follow my posts, I've liked the guy for a long time. The music and all that other shit is to attract the average CNN/Fox news watcher.

Why the need to change tack now ? Peter Schiff is not a war hero, he's not going to pull your kids out of a burning building. He's an economist and a very good one. He does actually know what America needs to do in order to sort itself out financially.
Do you think America is ripe right now for another Obama ? Do you think American is currently open to hype ? I think America is pretty sick & tired right now. I think the time is right for low key music & straight talk. That infomercial says nothing.

His videos are made by his supporters. They wanted him to run, they asked him to run all the time, if you listened to his radio show you would know that. He's listening to them, something differnet for a change. They donate their money and time. The public is his PR. They feel very passionalty about gettting him in the Senate because he's not a douchbag like Dodd is. You'd think you'd be critical of Dodd who was complelty wrong but no, you would rather get your panties in a bunch over this video.
