I think it's silly. But the organized precision of the media to put this theory down is hilarious.
I do a lot of reading. My comment was about the organized attempt to shit on this theory, instead of just ignoring it as the silly thing that is is. Twice an hour, all day long, we hear about how wrong these birthers are. For 2 weeks now. it's a lie, we got it. why keep harping on it?

A new Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll finds that 77% of Americans believe President Obama was Indeed Born in the United States, with only 11% saying he was not -- but there's no clear verdict among Republicans.
Among Republicans, it's a much weaker plurality of only 42% who say Obama was born in the U.S., with 28% saying he was not, with a very high undecided number of 30%. Among Democrats, the number is 93%-4%, and among independents it's 83%-8%.
This means that for Republicans to openly admit that Obama is indeed a natural-born American citizen, they risk alienating a significant chunk of their loyal base. And on the other hand, they could scare away independents by humoring the tin-foil hat crowd.
Late Update:: Another thing to point out is that Birtherism is heavily concentrated in the South. Only 47% of Southerners say Obama was born in the United States, 23% say he was not, and 30% aren't sure.

well thats assuming the only polled registered reps, which again we dont know b/c the reputable ppl at research2000 didnt state the paremeters of their poll...who knew right ::)
If they did what I suspect and simply asked and took the first 100 ppl that said they were a rep then the population size would be much much greater...and the % much much smaller...

I guess I see what you're saying, but in reality, the percentage is still probably about the same as a sample from any other poll conducted.

you simply ask when you call them or distribute the paper again the reputable ppl at research2000 failed to state the parameters of their research so this is up in that air...
I would like to know how it was conducted and the exact question asked as well as the parameters of this research so i could rip it apart as well. Most ppl have no idea how easy it is to unintentionally skew a poll let alone intentionally...

most zogby's use 1010 as the magic number to get the input of 305 million americans.
So 100 people as an evaluator for (305 million x 21 percent) might be a little low, but not that much.
bump it up to 200 and it would actually be accurate.

Now, I believe it is more likely that Obama is an illegal alien born in Kenya than just a plain ole U.S. citizen born to one U.S. citizen and one foreign national on U.S. soil.
Otherwise, what does Obama have to hide? Just release the docs and end the speculation. Maybe Frank Marshal Davis is the babydaddy and Obama IS a natural born Citizen.
