This is brilliant! ;D
Of course not one of the obamabots will have a decent refutation to this.
I have always maintained that he is a marxist radical.

This is brilliant! ;D
you think this is brilliant? Beck hasn't said anything new here...just rehashing talk points we've heard over and over again since 2007, fine if that's what floats his boat, but its boring, the guys been in office for 7months if you have something to say, criticise his presidency not how he grew.
The fact that Beck gets so pumped up about his parents learning Russian is really clutching at straws...I learned Arabic, does that make me a terrorist? I hung out with lefties and socialists all the time at university, but now I vote conservative...so does that make me a marxist?

No! However, I dont see you advocating marxist policies for the USA like Obama does. You grew out of that nonsense, he did not.

LOL. Love it. You tend to forget all of the unsavory parts of his past with the passage of time, but this brings a lot of it together.

This is brilliant! ;D
Agree 100 %

The libs are in total assault mode against me in the other thread.

It's all about fear, always has been with conservatives and Fox News. The irony is that such people spend all of their time in hysterics about imagined fears and yet they never see the real catastrophes coming.
There are so many examples.
They pushed so hard for this missile defense system in 2000 and completely ignored Bin Laden and Al Qaeda, where the real threat lay, in spite of repeated and pointed warnings by people whose specialty was terrorism.
They spend countless hours preaching about the dangers of gay marriage to the family unit, go home and treat their wives and kids like shit or ignore them completely, and then are dumbfounded when they get the "I'm leaving you" note.
They ranted continuously about their tax rate and how it robbed them while the people who benefited most from the tax cuts were quietly stealing their life savings, leveraging to the point of collapse the very institutions that hold their money, and rewarding themselves with millions in bonuses.
They sent away the national guard to help hunt down non-existent "weapons of mass destruction" in a country that has not attacked us and then watched slack jawed as a hurricane moved in and there were no nearby units they could send in to rescue people stranded by the floods.
What was their mantra in the late '90's and on into the 2000's? Deregulation. Got to get the government "out of the way" so that business can flourish. Then reality came crashing down on their unsuspecting heads: poison toys, deadly medications, salmonella and e. coli, toxic pet food, toxic credit default swaps, ponzi schemes, Enron, mining disasters.
These people scream and scream about a million dangers yet you can't trust them to actually prevent anything. They only seem to react to reality after they get smacked upside the head by it. The reason is that they are politically motivated rather than being motivated by a need to govern well.

Wonder if they can stoop lower than Obama in 2012? ???

Sure thing Blacken..nice cut and paste from the daily Kos. U idiots whined about Bush and the Patriot act for the last 7 years while Barry is doing more to upsurp the Constitution then anything involved in the Patriot act. They ignored Bin laden...I guess u missed Bush's National Security Review draft published in the summer of 01'. It specifically sites terrorism and homeland defense as the number 1 priority of the Bush admin...which was not much different from Clinton's last review. Um not sure about the wife and kids and gay marriage deal. Libs don't even pretend to care about that stuff so whatever. As far as the Hurricane...there were plenty of Guard units available. U really don't want to go there with me...u have no idea how a mob like that works. Bush didn't do enough by I'd look at New Orleans and their mistakes as well.

Ur kidding me right. These people supported Dems as much as Repubs. The Dems were behind the damm loan bullshit. And govern well...Barry is failing......nothing accomplished but some minor bullshit. Nice try
-
And more to the point..u idiots blame anybody and everybody for everything but can't explain how Cap and Trade won't raise taxes nor detail in simple language to the American people how this Healthcare crap won't shitcan their insurance, raise their taxes or cost over 1 trillion (CBO) over the next 10 years without saving a dime as its supposed to do.

i guessed you missed sept 11 2001

No I was moving my tanks to the front gate of my post. I imagine u were shitting ur pants. Bush couldn't have done a whole lot about Bin Laden at that point...anymore then Clinton tried and failed to do. After that we got all those douchebag lib rules against killing shitbags, sending in SOF and the CIA, lifted. U idiots have done more damage to this country then 40 years of Bush ever could.

he did a great job he started a war with Iraq you probably think that was a great move too

Really he started the war with Iraq? You do realize that the gulf war never ended in a surrender? Yeah there was a cease fire, which means the war never ended, we just stopped shooting them. Then there are those pesky terms of the cease fire that Iraq kept breaking.

You're going to come here with a good knowledge of the political past and definite points to back up your statements?
Wrong board...
333388863 won't be able to justify calling you a Marxist. Billy Mimnaugh won't be able to devote the 9 hours he'd take to read that; and Headhuntersix will have trouble trying to belittle you for not knowing what "really" happened with "our boys" because only he knows what happens in the military.
You'll see no replies to your post.

Wtf are you babbling about? Blackens post was incomprehensible drivel. I can't fathom why anyone would respond to something so badly written and factually absurd.
Whats the weather like on your planet?

Glenn Beck is the Michael Scott of talk show hosts.

Why would I respond to utter rubbish?
Other than possibly the repeal of Glass Steagal, signed by Clinton, the federal govt is the main culprit in the financial meltodown through the CRA and Federal Reserve printing money like there is no tommorow and Fannie and Freddy subsidizing the same.

I'm glad you asked.
1. Takeover of auto's
2. Takeover of banks
3. Attempted takeover of health care
4. Attempted takeover of energy
5. 27 Czars and counting
6. Exponential growth of the public sector while continuing to raise taxes.
7. Class Warfare rhetoric at every opportunity
8. Pay Czar
Those come to mind at first blush.

While you're blushing, would you please explain what a Marxist policy is and how it differentiates from a capitalist or socialist policy?
In other words, what is the basis for your list?

Marxism, for simplicity's sake is public( government) ownership of the economy .

In a capitilist society, failed businesses should go away and are dealt with in bankruptcy court, not propped by the taxpayer.
What is essentially going on now is the gradual takeover of all these businesses by the govt, while they should have been left to fail so that new businesses can develope and be created.
Actually, its probably more fascistic what is occuring since the profits are not even going to the taxpayers who bailed out these banks, companies, etc., but to the thieves in bed with the politicians.
This is why I was against TARP the bailouts etc.
The wall street thieves bought off the politicians so that the very very tiny few at the top could reap billions, while the rest of us are burderned with highter taxes, bad debt, debased currency, etc.
Look at cap & trade and the corruption that mess is. 85% of the tax revenue that is generated is not even going to the taxpayer paying the higher taxes, but to the credits the corrupt pols gave away.
Its a complete disaster when the govt gets in bed with the businesses like this.
-
Why do I get the feeling that Glenn Beck has never been a part of an inside joke?
-
Marxism, for simplicity's sake is public( government) ownership of the economy .
That's well put.
I don't equate the government with the people in the sense that a government could be a dictatorship and not a representative government.
Marxism is ownership of everything by the people...all property is public, not private.
Socialism is ownership of the means of production by the worker.
Capitalism is ownership of the means of production by the capitalist.

The marketplace is rather light on compassion.
You can argue about the efficacy/ethics of Obama's Cap & trade policy but you can't argue with its aim.
It depends on what you mean by "complete disaster." Cap & trade is nothing new conceptually. But if it does control pollution, reduce carbon poisoning of our atmosphere and move us towards green energy, I don't see the problem.
The alternative you offer is "ignore the environment and maximize the bottom line at all costs." That's not good enough.

I care about people more than I care about green fantasies. Cap & Trade as presented by Obama is a massive giveaway to GAS at taxpayer expense.
He admitted himself that our electricity rates will skyrocket with this. In a time of recession, is it really smart to do this?

No, like the US leading the way on environmental responsibility so that other countries will follow suit either by example or some sort of economic incentive.
Or do you dismiss global warming outright and view this as a scam?

I am not willing to do a damn thing until China or India joins along. At least they are smart enough to know that Spains' expirement with this insanity only results in more unemployment and debt. Even Russia is laughing at our stupidity.
We are on a suicide mission with this garbage.

You're part right. We are on a suicide mission if we do nothing more meaningful to address pollution.
A national report on China's environment, issued by the ministry on November last year, said among some 320 cities of prefecture level and above, air quality of 39.5 percent of the cities averaged at level III or lower.
China also classifies water quality in major rivers and lakes into six levels, ranging from level I, which is good enough to be used as the source of drinking water, to level VI which is too polluted to be used even for farm irrigation.
The quality of the water sampled in almost one fourth of the monitoring stations set up along major rivers such as the Yangtze River and the Yellow River averaged at level VI, according to the document.
Pollution in 28 major lakes, such as the Taihu Lake and the Dianchi Lake, remained serious, with the quality of almost 40 percent of the water was at level VI.
Waters in urban regions were also facing serious pollution, with 90 percent of river water and half of underground water polluted. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2009-02/24/content_7508856.htm
India is getting about 5% less sunlight than it did 20 years ago, according to a study by Padma Kumari and colleagues at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology in Pune. They studied data from the India Meteorological Department, measuring differences in solar radiation at 12 stations across India between 1981 and 2004.
India is losing out on sunshine because a cloud of tiny air-borne particles released by the nation's industries hovers above the subcontinent, blocking light from reaching the Earth.

HIgher incidents of birth defects, cancer, infertility, lower life expectancies etc are an acceptable cost to you?
What good is money if your dead from cancer and heart disease? ...or you can't step outside at noon b/c the air quality is putrid.
We can wait for India and China or we can be a leader.

The marketplace is rather light on compassion.
However fickle it might be, Deck, at least the marketplace provides options. Marxism has no place for options. It's the government's way or bust.
-
Creativity, freedom of expression, freedom of choice, options, hard work= All strangled to death under a Marxist/ socialist regime.
Has anyone here read animal farm? The only ones in control with their hands in all the cookie jars pulling the strings are the slobs we elect into office. Capitalism spreads the risk and the reward-- Of course oversight is necessary to a degree; But what we are watching unfold is not only counterproductive, its downright scary.
