Post by: dan18 on August 07, 2009, 05:48:07 AM: ST. LOUIS - A Missouri mother who was tried on accusations she was involved in a MySpace hoax directed at a 13-year-old girl who committed suicide has been told she can use the Internet again.

The lawyer for Lori Drew says she has been offered a job that requires her to use a computer and the Internet. A federal judge in California on Thursday modified Drew's bail so she can.

Drew was convicted last fall in the case where she was accused of illegally accessing a computer to harass a neighborhood teenager, Megan Meier. U.S. District Judge George Wu tentatively threw out convictions against Drew in July.

Yeah, if you tel someone, I dare you to jump in front of that bus, and they do it, I wonder how they charge you?

I guess it's because the woman was pretending to be another 13 yr old.

yes under certain rules you cannot have a pc at home or you may not use one even if work requires it.....Alot of pedos that get caught using the internet as a tool..part of there probation can be no computer ruling..

so if a guy wanted to get back at people after he committed suicide, he could leave a list saying "these are the people responsible for me killing myself:" and then everybody listed would be screwed :D
