in this day of technology why does it take over a year to produce a DVD ???

There is no more BFTO. Mits is in retirement; Now you got Olympia the series, in the Trenches and all the other free stuff so fuck BFTO.

Being that the IFBB was 'offering' the opportunity to shoot BFTO for a mere $14k (to any willing videographer), I don't think you'll be seeing this series again anytime soon.

There is no 2008 BFTO. When Mits retired he started selling off his his inventory at half price. Another company stepped in and bought MOCVideo but there wasn't enough time to make a 2008 BFTO.
They said they would make a 2009 BFTO, but then they posted this on their site:
Q: Will there be a Battle for the Olympia 2009?
A: Unfortunately, no! With the economy like it is, and dvd sales WAY down, we cannot afford to invest the many thousands of dollars it costs just to license us for the BFO through the IFBB. Hopefully in 2010 we can do it!

Mits vids were so fjukin boring anyway. Some guys pumping away, doing the same shit as the other guy. Then you get to see them eating and maybe doing some cardio. So lame. Mits seems like the biggest schmoe ever too, he is creepy, like he gets aroused being around the big boys. If they should do another BFTO series they should use the same company that produces Ruhls videos which shows more real life situations. Tom Platz old series Battle for the Gold was alot better too. Thank god Mits is retired.
