Released from Strikeforce... possibly coming back to UFC.
If so, at middleweight, could he be a contender for GSP? Now i said "contender"... not champion. ;D

Baroni is punch drunk..he couldnt hit the floor if he fell on it nowadays.

Yeah... and he's never fought anyone that great....
but he does add a lot of excitement etc... so maybe it's a good thing...

He should have stayed away from UFC and Strikeforce, and fought Titus instead. Would have saved his brain
-
He is a loud mouth douchebag. GSP would rip off his arms and legs and make a hand puppet out of him.

Baroni/Thiago Silva would be a great match up...
not every guy they bring into the UFC needs to be a title threat to be interesting..
under cards have seriously sucked lately and baroni's got the name and style to change that a little..

Baroni is Da Best Eva!!!
Seriously, he would be a great addtion to the UFC, bro has charisma for days. One of those guys that people just love to hate. With his so so record, and lack of success in the UFC previously, I doubt that Dana will ever put him back in.

The only problem with adding him to the under cards is that they don't televise them, and that would be the advantage to having him IMO, as his record and fighting ability is :-\.

Dana and Phil actually have a good relationship. Phil was actually going to come back to the UFC after the Frank Shamrock fight. They resigned Dennis Hallman so I can't say Phil doesn't have a good shot at coming back.

I believe they already signed him. He is schedculed to fight at 170. I'd love to see him and Marcus Davis go at it. He is nowhere near GSP.
