the concept of the leather jacket is always cool, but like anything related to fashion.....its cyclical.........right now, leather jackets are very much out.

Little bit, I like 1950's style.  I don't care much for Harley's though, (or the kind of jackass they attract, not guys like SS and Hells Angles but the wannabe tuff guys with all the leather bullshit and accessories from the Harley Davidson store).

Leather jackets are like blue jeans, they'll be around forever and will be trendy one year then not the next but people will still wear them anyways.  I ride a motorcycle, check my avatar, so I wear a real leather Joe Rocket jacket.  More for not tearing my skin off if I spill than for fashion, but they are still cool to wear.
