Would this physique (Tim Belknap) be competitive in the pros today?  Would he even be a pro with this physique?  ???

Amazing. Today's pros have bigger guts and are far smoother. Such a physique may do well in the lower tier contests, but won't even make it to the Olympia or the Arnold. The powers that be wouldn't let it anywhere near its beloved gut monsters.  :P

I am officially now the 'old timer' who remembers guys from 'back in the day'.  Guys that used to be well known, but today make young guys say "who is that?" :'(

Troy Zuccolotto has been more $uccesful in body building that most pros you can name.  No, he never won the holy grail, but he developed a look that was deemed exceptionally photogenic; as a result, he won numerous endorsement contracts and made more money from those than any of his peers.  He saved and invested his money and is now sitting pretty.

In other words, he got what he wanted out of bodybuilding: a chiseled physique and financial security for himself and his family.

Troy is pictured here with Jim Quinn--and if you ask "who is that?" I'm quitting getbig! >:(

He's far from the first.  Belknap became infamous for his pubs sticking out.  Seems to always be with that same posing suit.

You'd think the photographer would have said something.
