Are you speaking from experience or just assuming. I've been to many amateur shows in this region that have been packed to the cheap seats. That's with very poor marketing of events. If they really promote this show half as much as they do a US competition they will have the place filled to the roof. The attached picture was taken at a competition in Kuwait. Not a Pro Show. The picture was taken about an hour before the thing even started. Although the venue was pretty small they could have packed a much larger auditorium. Bodybuilding is very popular in this region and has a big following. There is no doubt in my mind they would be able to draw in a great crowd.

That's a shame.
The rich arab schmoes certainly like their men in thongs is Dubai, India. Probably would be an ok show if it ever goes ahead.
-
Was this an IFBB show. That means the show is cancelled and the promoter loses out but the IFBB got there fee from the promoter. Again, the IFBB doesn't care as long as they make their money. Of course this is all speculation since I have no idea about this show. I am going on past history of the IFBB.
-
the crooked IFBB probably wanted too much in sponsorship costs and the Arab's told them to go fuck themselves.
-
or perhaps they couldn't get any tier one (two, three) athletes to enter
-
Maybe cause the UAE is the main sponsor for the new federating WPBF or what ever so they don’t want to entertain IFBB sanction shows.

I was thinking the same thing. I hope they work all this mess out. I was looking forward to checking out Physique Weekend.

If you were going by past history(which you know nothing about)...you would know that the sanction fee wasn't paid yet
Thanks for playing
