I went to the pharmacy to fill a script for Xanax. While I was there I told the homie behind the counter I wanted two boxes of Bronkaid. He was Indian or something so I couldn't understand him, but he was trying to tell me he couldn't sell me them because taking them with Xanax was dangerous or some shit. I told him I have an anxiety disorder and he shouldn't discriminate against me and that he doesn't know what it's like to have anxiety and every day is a struggle and he should commend me for being brave enough to go out in the world rather than give me a hard time lol(I don't really have anxiety). Anyways, he wasn't going to sell me them but then some chick who was there as well came over and took care of it for me, told me to only take the recommended dose, call the Doc if my heart beats fast blah, blah. Anyone ever go through something like this?

bronkaid shouldn't be mixed with any MAIO inhibitor. Xanax, while an antidepressant like many MAOIs, isn't an MAOI inhibitor.

Is Xanax an MAIO? I thought those were Prozac, Paxil etc., too lazy too google it. How am I supposed to sleep after taking ephedrine all day without sedatives ???

I am going to take Xanax or Valium regardless. I am not saying anyone should mix the two, just that I do. Just found it odd that the guy was giving me a hard time about buying a non-prescription drug.

hmm i was on remeron, glad i quit it, it just makes you depessed in the long run and sex drive goes down and you lose emotions. i think you will need viagra too on valium/xanax, no?

Xanax is a benzo/anxiolytic, not an antidepressant. None of the drugs you listed are MAOIs. You aren't supposed to take ephedrine with MAOIs because there is a risk of noradrenergic crisis/hypertensive crisis, but I hadn't heard no ephedrine with xanax. My guess is he figured bronkaid could exacerbate the anxiety and maybe even cause severe hypertension.

No, I don't need it. But I do have take them on occasion if I am really fucked up. You can hammer a nail with your cock if you take a 100 mg. Viagra.

personally, I would only run one "major" impactful drug at once. Unless it was imperative to function, I'd use xanax for a short period then ween off it, at which point try the bronkaid.
The pharmacist may have just been paranoid. People mix antibiotics, anti-depressants, ephedrine, and sometimes they don't wake up.

I have have been running sedatives for 13 plus years. Still want to take Bronkaid.

Some pharmacies in CA make you sign for it, others don't. All I have seen keep it behind the counter.
Nobody ever given me a hard time, but I'm usually only picking up one thing at a time.

Xanax is a benzo, not a MAOI.
Paxil Prozac etc are SSRI's, not MAOI's

Most likely he thought the ephedrine might give you a panic attack. It's generally advised that people with anxiety disorders stay away from stimulants.
