Title: Malignaggi vs Diaz
Post by: Joel_A on August 22, 2009, 10:11:32 PM
I have never seen a worse case of home cooking in boxing. Paulie Malignaggi isn't exactly my favorite boxer as he is too loud and arrogant, but he clearly got robbed. Horrible. Shame on the judges.

I'n not the biggest Paulie fan either, but I do appreciate his slick, elusive style and the fact that he clearly out boxed Diaz last night.  He had a pretty bad meltdown, but he did speak the truth and i'm glad he had the stones to put it out there like that.  I heard he's considering the jump to MMA in the near future.

Highway robbery. One judge had it 118-110 on one scorecard??

Fucking unbelievable! Guarantee there will be an investigation into the scoring of this fight.

MMA?? He has 5 career professional knockouts! He has no power to speak of. How's that going to work?

He's been training Sambo and BJJ for several years.

I think Malinaggi won the fight but I would have been okay with a split decision to Diaz.

A unanimous with one judge scoring it 108-100 is just ridiculous and does smell a tad fishy, but that is boxing for ya.

Missed it    the first 2 fights put me dead to sleep.   My co-worker told me   Diaz got a gift though.

I think teh fight could've gone either way, but no way should it have been unanimous and teh score 118-110 was rediculous.
