Title: Westside Releases Statement Regarding Hoff Incident
Post by: John O on August 27, 2009, 02:12:55 PM
Westside Barbell's Louie Simmons has released a statement regarding the alleged cheating incident involving Dave Hoff at last weekend's Pro-Am. Simmons declares that Hoff had nothing under his shirt and that his meet results and membership in the SPF should be reinstated immediately.

Now I start to wonder if this was an isolated incident or if shit like this have been going on for awhile with other guys from Westside.
regardless - a total disgrace to powerlifting.

What the hell is that lump? I have seen people that have a distended abdomen due to some sort of intestinal issue but thats huge.

I cannot tell if he actually touched the bar to it or not though. Anyone have a better vid?

3-4 knee wraps. Was a great meet outside of that.

Yes. Ridiculous shit like this makes at least me lean more and more towards competing raw.
I need to work my core strength some more. But after that it would be awesome to start doing this raw.
at least do a few of the meets every year unequipped.

The one big thing with Westside with me, is how complicated there training is! For me anyway.  I don't really want a study guide to train LOL.  Then again I use the KISS method of training. Keep It Simple Stupid.  Fits me well  ;D
