According to Ocho Cinco's twitter (they are friends)....Brady is "fine".  He took a nice shot to the shoulder, thats for sure.  I suspect a couple weeks rest and he'll be ok.  He was zipping the ball around like I've never seen last night.  Him and Moss really got it going.

Brady had several throws that had a lot of speed on them.  More than I've seen in a long time.  Most likely the product of having a whole year to rest his shoulder in 2008.

I'm actually quite surprised that Haynesworth didn't/won't get a fine. I'll admit, I thought it was a fringe call for a personal foul but it looked like Haynesworth was intentioanlly driving his weight behind the tackle. Ever since Siragusa did that to Rich Gannon in the 2001 AFC championship game, QB's having been drawing a lot of personal foul penalties. Gannon wasn't the same for the rest of the game and the Ravens dominated on their way to the Lombardi trophy.(sorry for the excess details...it's been awhile since Baltimore won anything....)

It's cool.  I didn't think it was dirty.  Albert is a big man.  I saw Brady throwing the ball after it happened, so I doubt it's anything to serious.  Few weeks rest and he should be ok.

The NFL discusses certain things with players in terms of injury prevention. IMO they should also include in this some information on how to avoid shoulder separations. Especially to QBs as this happens to them more often it seems.

Essentially it would mean telling them to try to twist or roll slightly at the last second before hitting the ground so as to avoid landing squarely on the side of the shoulder with the weight of another player on them. This is the textbook means for acquiring a separation. It's usually the same type of impact, which to some degree can be avoided if the right (small) movements are made. Brady probably just got lucky in not landing at quite the angle that would've led to separation.

In addition, in Brady's case i'd have him wearing knee braces for the foreseeable future. They curtail mobility but the potential benefit outweighs the drawbacks, in his case.

How about we just put fucking skirts on QB's from here on out. They don't wear red jerseys on game days like they do in practice.

This is FOOTBALL, for christ's sake!

What my opinion change if an injury happened to Joe Flacco??

OF COURSE IT WOULD. ;D
