He's clueless he states an example of a broken private insurance system, and then blames the government! This is insanity. How can you even begin to debate with people like this? It's kinda like me trying to make a case against public transit by complaining and describing all of the bad taxi trips I'd taken! he did really good, didn't blow up at the idiot congresscritter, and said the facts! the congresscritter got very nervous he knows he's out there selling a lemon from the insurance companies, and hoping the fools will buy it, so he can keep getting bigger savings into his family's wealth, securing their healthcare, travel, education, FOR LIFE! stupid little fools, so dumb in refusing to hear the truth. hopefully some listened!

The govt created the HMO system you dope and regulates insurance more heavily than most other industries. additionally, the states lay a heavy mandate on insurers such that smaller cfompanies cant compete with larger ones, hence a govt created monopoly in many states.

In the past, physicians were allowed to make treatment recommendations based on their medical training, their evaluation of each particular patient's needs, and their firsthand knowledge of available medical facilities. Under HMO's, physicians are forced to make recommendations based on HMO guidelines. HMO's, though, are profit-driven organizations, thus all guidelines and decisions are based on the bottom line, not necessarily on what's best for a particular patient. if you think that decision was made other than for the bottom line by insurance companies , your the dope.

I dont see doctors nearly as scared of insurance carriers as they are govt takeover. Additionally, what is your solution? Medicare?
Medicare is nearly insolvent as it.
