I would actually also put top-ranked bodybuilders near the top of this list. Combination of training, diet, and (I mean this sincerely) chemistry, particularly as show nears.
Bodybuilders aren't athletes, unless they also play a sport.

Golf players. Shitiest guy makes 250,000 / yr for swinging a club and going back to the clubhouse for beers. Calm sport that pay extremely high.

If you mean that there must be some definitive, objective, comparable measure (nearly inarguable score/time/etc.) of achievement/winning, it is hard to argue bb is a sport, I agree; but given the time, dedication, performance of variety of lifts, applicable nutrition and applicable pharmaceutical chemistry, I am of the opinion that building a truly massive, world class physique is athleticism.
come on , you think that asshole dexter jackson stays up all night reading biology and chemistry books?

Don't these professional bodybuilders (who aren't even athletes) have trainers like that Charles Glass guy who are most likely telling them what to inject, what to eat, what to lift and what to do with pretty much every waking minute of their lives? Smart? No. Robotic? Yes.

Um sure. Vince Young is a genius. So is Ben Rothlisberger and many other "smart" qbs. The smartest tend to be tennis or golf players. They are mostly brought up in rich families and then go to smart schools to play these sports.

The QB thing is true. QB's have to be very smart BB's don't have to be smart and most of them aren't. They get the advice from others who are smarter
