Want To See The Hypocrisy? What do you think every Right Wing Screamer in America would be shouting right now if two fuckin BUILDINGS fell down 10 days from now? Who do you think they'd blame?But with them it's like, "We were new. We hadn't even settled into our offices yet. You can't blame us for that. It's all Clinton's fault." Funny how the World Trade Center bombing happened in 1993 (only a few months after Clinton took office), yet that's ALL HIS FAULT, but 9/11 happens 8 months into Bush's term and they can't be expected to take any blame for something that happened THAT QUICKLY after taking office.

Yes let's play the blame game, how far you wanna go back? It's not like the fucking nut jobs in the middle east suddenly started blowing shit up in the last 10 years. They have been at it for decades, they have been attacking American interest over sea's and killing Americans for as long as I can remember. No POTUS thought that these fucker would have the ability or the balls to attack America on the mainland until it happened. Even then they wanted to act like it was an isolated incident. The only blame can be layed at the feet of a POTUS who obstructed our intelligence agencies ability to do their job.

under Bush: 3000 american CIVILIANS killed, chunk of lower manhattan destroyed(still a hole to this day, almost a DECADE later), THOUSANDS of americans killed in Vietnam Part 2, with americans dying on a DAILY BASIS for no reason whatsoever.

yes it is truly shameful. there really is NO good excuse for it. considering they built the Empire State Building- which was at the time by far the largest, tallest, most advanced building EVER build in the ENTIRE WORLD(unlike the new WTC plans) in less than ONE YEAR during the height of the GREAT DEPRESSION.
its even worse when one considers the symbolic nature of the WTC attacks/remaining Hole in the ground in the heart of new york.
there ia really no excuse. its just shameful.

One small incident...ur an epic moron. The attack failed to bring down the buildings, but that was the goal. We lost guys on the Cole, we lost guys at Kobar towers. Bin Laden was emboldened by our pull-out in Somalia...alll this happaned on Clinton's watch. Bush responded by taking down the shitbags in Afghanistan. They responded by changing all the ridiculous rules that were put in place by the friggen Dems, that hamstrung our Intell and SOF forces. HH6 - thanks for pointing out the 1993 WTC bombing. Ramzi Yusef said the goal was 2ook dead and he thought on the low side it would have been 40k dead if they could bring down the towers in 1993.
The only reason we did not lose 40k people on 9/11/2001 was the following:
1. Time of day.
2. Height of the attack on the upper floors
3. Length of time the buildings stood before they collapsed.
Change any of those factors and we could have easily lost 25- 75k people.
